Position Summary

This role involves sanding furniture pieces and components to prepare them for the final finishing process, ensuring high quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sanding on furniture and related components.
• Operate a variety of sanding tools, including air-operated palm sanders, hard blocks, assorted sanding blocks, foam blocks, and machine sanders.
• Sanding of veneer surfaces.
• Inspect items for scratches and putty areas and apply color-matched putty as necessary.
• Steam out dents to restore surface quality.
• Break edges on drawers, doors, and other case good parts before machine sanding.
• Rack finished items according to order and room numbers.
• Learn operation of stroke sanders as part of skill development.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, with actual pay depending on qualifications, experience, organizational needs, and market conditions. Additional compensation may include geographic premiums, annual discretionary incentives, and equity awards under applicable program rules.
