Role Overview
We are seeking to employ a Sample Management Officer within our Pre-Analytics team at the Eurofins Biomnis laboratory located in Sandyford, Dublin 18. This position offers a prime opportunity to grow professionally and ascend within your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage patient specimens within the Pre-analytical department, facilitating their transfer to analytical laboratories.
- Prepare and handle outsourced samples for shipment to external laboratories.
- Exhibit initiative and proactivity in supporting the Pre-Analytics team, sharing tasks collaboratively to ensure efficient, quality-driven, and customer-focused laboratory services.
Working Hours and Location
The role demands commitment to 39 hours per week with available shifts including Early Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and Late Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM). This position is strictly onsite at Sandyford, Dublin 18, with no hybrid work option.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Requirement: Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in sample handling or manual handling is preferable but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive and positive approach with willingness to exceed expectations to solve challenges.
- Strong teamwork capability.
