Role Summary

We seek an experienced Principal Technology Architect specializing in Salesforce within the telecommunications sector. The role focuses on enterprise architecture design, architecting scalable Salesforce solutions particularly with Communication Cloud and Revenue Cloud for telecom operators, and leading significant transformative initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in product catalog management, CPQ, order management, quote-to-cash cycles, and integration with Salesforce Industries platforms.

Location and Flexibility

This position is based in Auckland, New Zealand with flexible hybrid working options tailored per individual circumstances and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce Communication Cloud and Revenue Cloud deployments.
• Establish scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions tailored to telecom clients.
• Govern architecture standards, conduct design reviews, and enforce technical guidelines.
• Architect integrations involving OSS, BSS, billing systems, ERP, and middleware platforms.
• Facilitate solution workshops and manage stakeholder engagements.
• Guide and mentor technical teams to ensure delivery excellence.
• Contribute to strategic roadmap development and platform modernization efforts.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or related disciplines.
• At least 15 years in IT with over 5 years in solutions architecture focused on Salesforce implementation.
• Certified Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect.
• Salesforce OmniStudio Consultant certification.
• Salesforce Industries Architect accreditation preferred.

Preferred Expertise

• Deep experience with Salesforce Communication Cloud or Revenue Cloud implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Product Catalog, CPQ, and Order Management processes.
• Hands-on experience with OmniStudio framework and Salesforce Industries solutions.
• Proficient in Salesforce integrations and API-led architectures.
• Advanced skills in Apex programming and Lightning Web Components.
• Insight into quote-to-cash and telecommunications business processes.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
