About the Role
We seek an accomplished Salesforce Service Cloud Architect to spearhead the technical and architectural aspects of a sophisticated enterprise Service Cloud landscape. This crucial position entails ensuring the platform's stability, scalability, maintainability, performance, and ongoing enhancement within the Application Management Services (AMS) environment.
The architect will collaborate extensively with the Service Delivery Manager, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Architect, Level 3 Salesforce Engineers, and business stakeholders to tackle complex production challenges, assess risks to architecture, eradicate technical debt, oversee change governance, and chart the modernization and optimization roadmap of the platform.
This role demands deep expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud architecture, including Apex coding, Lightning components and Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow automation, integration strategies, data modeling, security frameworks, automation approaches, and management of enterprise-level Salesforce deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full ownership and governance over the technical architecture of the Salesforce Service Cloud platform.
- Design scalable and sustainable solutions abiding by Salesforce best practices.
- Conduct reviews of current architecture to surface and mitigate technical risks.
- Establish architectural standards and design principles for the Application Management Services team.
- Ensure all solutions comply and align with enterprise architecture guidelines and Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Offer expert architectural guidance to Level 2 and Level 3 technical teams when resolving complex application issues.
- Evaluate proposed application modifications for their architectural impact.
- Strike an optimal balance between system configuration, customization, and bespoke development work.
