Job description
Position Overview
This role is designated for candidates located in Australia only, including Canberra (ACT), Geelong/Melbourne (VIC), Brisbane (QLD), and Surry Hills (NSW). Applicants must be Australian citizens and meet a baseline security clearance. The position supports a hybrid working model combining office presence with flexible remote work options. Our client is looking to onboard skilled Salesforce Developers to contribute toward creating advanced digital solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create and improve Salesforce applications, incorporating AI-enhanced development features such as Claude Code.
- Implement and maintain integrations using RESTful APIs and Salesforce Platform Events.
- Produce Salesforce Vlocity/OmniStudio solutions using technologies like Apex, Lightning Web Components, OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Utilize version control systems and DevOps tools including GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, and Visual Studio Code.
- Participate actively within Agile teams to deliver superior CRM solutions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years' practical experience developing Salesforce applications, notably with Vlocity/OmniStudio.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and building Salesforce integrations.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles, design patterns, and software frameworks.
- Experience with source control management, package-based development, and DevOps workflows.
- In-depth knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Salesforce Governor Limits.
- Commitment to accessible and inclusive design in development processes.
Preferred Skills and Credentials
- Proven delivery of three or more Salesforce CRM projects following Agile methodologies.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I & II, and OmniStudio Developer.
- Experience configuring and tailoring AI within Salesforce platforms.
