Position Overview

This permanent, full-time role based in Perth offers a fantastic opportunity to join a national Sales Support team within a leading telecommunications company. The role focuses on optimizing sales processes to shorten order-to-billing timelines, enhancing the customer onboarding and order management experience, and ultimately boosting sales results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forge strong, effective partnerships with Enterprise and Wholesale Sales teams.
  • Conduct thorough sales process validations to facilitate commercial closures.
  • Promptly respond to customer requests for quotations.
  • Assist with creating sales opportunities and orders within the CRM platform (primarily Salesforce).
  • Precisely and efficiently capture and process orders for submission to delivery teams.
  • Triage and resolve issues related to order submission failures and on-hold orders to support sales team completion.
  • Monitor order progress through delivery phases and ensure accuracy of the initial billing.
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise regarding products, processes, and system applications relevant to the role.
  • Identify and propose continuous improvements focusing on added value and operational efficiencies.
  • Implement new or revised sales administration procedures, processes, and reporting mechanisms.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable sales support role, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong proficiency using enterprise-level CRMs, with Salesforce experience advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with well-developed organizational abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High technical aptitude for understanding complex ICT products.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships.
