Sales Support Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team, focusing on providing exceptional technical assistance and sales support for laptops and related hardware at multiple store locations in Chennai and Dharmapuri regions. The position involves diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware issues, assisting customers with product features, and actively promoting value-added services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform activation of MS Office suites and install Photoshop along with Adobe Suite applications.
• Set up and configure wireless printers and routers for customers.
• Conduct basic Level 1 diagnosis and troubleshooting for laptops and desktops.
• Demonstrate laptops effectively, clearly explaining product features to potential buyers.
• Meet assigned monthly sales and service goals to ensure business targets are achieved.
• Build customer trust and handle customer interactions with confidence.
• Inform every laptop purchaser about additional Zip Services and encourage uptake of applicable service packages.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum education qualification is 10th or 12th Standard or a Diploma in IT.
• Diploma holders in Computer Hardware & Networking are preferred.
• Fresh candidates or those with at least 6 months experience in desktop or laptop support will be considered favorably.

Work Schedule and Locations

• Shifts run from 12:30 PM to between 8:30 and 9:00 PM.
• Workdays include mandatory Saturdays and Sundays with a weekly off available on weekdays (Monday to Friday).
• Stores remain open during festivals; compensatory leave will be provided subsequently.
• Job locations cover Chennai areas including Mount Road, BSR Mall, PMC Mall, Vivira Mall, Alwarpet, Ramapuram, Kilpauk and Dharmapuri on Salem Main Road.
