Role Summary
The Sales Support Executive will be instrumental in driving sales efficiency by supporting sales initiatives, managing customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and delivering insightful business reports. This position involves close collaboration with Sales, Commercial, and Business Process teams to enhance operational workflows, improve data quality, and facilitate informed decision-making within a dynamic sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Commercial, and Business Process teams to implement and maintain sales strategies at local and regional levels.
- Streamline and standardize sales administrative procedures in partnership with Regional Sales Operations.
- Provide training and onboarding assistance to new sales personnel on sales protocols, CRM platforms, and best practices.
- Continuously enhance CRM data accuracy, completeness, and compliance standards.
- Analyze weekly and monthly sales metrics including pipeline status, sales volumes, and gross profit, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
- Assist with governance and management of sales incentive programs, ensuring accurate auditing and validation of commissions and bonuses.
- Contribute to the process of setting sales targets for individual team members.
- Generate management reports, dashboards, and presentations for sales leadership across country and regional levels.
- Support sales teams operationally and administratively during bid preparation and proposal submissions.
- Respond promptly to ad hoc sales requests including quotation generation and other sales support activities.
- Lead and participate in special projects aimed at advancing sales productivity, reporting accuracy, and operational excellence.
Candidate Profile
- Background in Sales Operations, Commercial Support, or related roles within Freight Forwarding.
- Strong analytical aptitude for interpreting sales data and translating findings into strategic actions.
- Experienced with CRM systems and sales analytics tools; familiarity with Salesforce, CW1, or related platforms is highly valued.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced reporting skills.
- Effective organizational abilities enabling management of multiple priorities and projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of cross-team collaboration.
- Detail-focused, proactive, and dedicated to continuous process improvements.
- Ability to work autonomously yet contribute as an effective team member.
