Job description
Role Overview
Join Barretts Honda Canterbury as a Sales Specialist, representing both Barretts and the Honda brand. You will be an integral part of the sales team, responsible for delivering a seamless customer experience from initial enquiry through to final sale, including vehicle, finance, and insurance products. Your daily tasks include managing face-to-face and phone enquiries while converting opportunities into sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Address questions and enquiries from prospective and existing customers about new and used vehicle sales.
- Provide expert guidance to customers throughout the purchasing journey, acting as the primary point of contact for Barretts and Honda.
- Achieve individual sales targets by effectively promoting finance, insurance options, and vehicle extras.
- Support steady enquiry flow by engaging in prospecting and marketing initiatives across multiple channels.
- Maintain in-depth specialist knowledge of Honda vehicles and options, regularly updating expertise.
- Ensure the vehicle handover process is managed efficiently and complies with company standards.
- Follow Barretts and industry regulations governing the sale of vehicles, finance, and insurance products.
Experience and Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will have at least one year of prior experience in a comparable sales role. However, candidates with a strong customer service background and a focus on achieving sales targets are encouraged to apply, as comprehensive training will be provided.
