Sales & Retail Support Manager

About the Role

Join a wholesale and retail clothing company as a Sales & Retail Support Manager located centrally in Bugis, Singapore. This is a permanent position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:30 PM, offering a salary of up to SGD 5000 plus variable bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Choose and curate appealing product assortments to present during in-store events to external partners.
• Conduct market analysis to discover new business prospects and suggest service enhancement ideas that boost profitability.
• Maintain operational and service standards by establishing and enforcing guidelines among the sales team.
• Provide thorough product training to retail promoters, ensuring they possess comprehensive product knowledge.
• Ensure strict compliance with company standard operating procedures and policies within the sales team.
• Supervise product displays and Point of Purchase (POP) materials, including correct price and product tagging, adhering to company and store department rules.
• Cultivate strong communication and supportive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for management.
• Manage optimal inventory levels across retail outlets and assist with stock movements and event setups, including travel between stores as necessary.
• Guide and mentor sales personnel by addressing procedural and technical questions and encouraging professional skill growth.
• Manage daily retail operations such as inventory handling, logistics coordination, and provide team assistance, including some weekend coverage.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets, and lead monthly sales meetings.
• Support the merchandising team in stock taking and ensure compliance with stock movement SOPs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience as a sales manager within the retail sector.
• Strong retail sales background, particularly managing retail outlets or departmental store counters.
• Preference given to candidates with experience managing counters at renowned retailers like Takashimaya, CK Tangs, or Isetan.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; skills in Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator are advantageous.
• Willingness to work extended hours, particularly during event setups and dismantling.
