Role Overview
We seek a skilled Sales Representative to join our RECON team in New Zealand, leveraging medical device sales expertise to promote and support Zimmer Biomet's RECON product portfolio. This role emphasizes account maintenance, new business development, and working closely with surgical teams in operating theatres.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow existing business relationships while securing new sales opportunities.
- Actively participate as a key member of the operating theatre team.
- Deliver in-service training sessions and workshops on Zimmer Biomet products to clinical staff.
- Stay informed about advancements in surgical techniques, industry literature, and competitor activity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments including Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Science, or similar disciplines.
- Proven success in medical device sales, ideally within orthopaedics, capital equipment, or diagnostics sectors.
- Experience working within operating theatre environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Genuine enthusiasm for healthcare, anatomy, and innovative technologies that improve patient outcomes.
- Strong strategic thinking abilities and adeptness at developing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Effective communicator and team player with strong presentation capabilities.
Travel Requirements
- Frequent travel throughout the designated region (approximately 90%).
- Occasional inter-island or international travel as necessary.
