Role Summary

Reporting to the Customer Manager, based in Shannon, you will be primarily responsible for delivering outstanding support to CVD customers. You will oversee daily customer operations from order receipt through to shipping and invoicing, ensuring flawless execution and meeting short-term revenue targets through rigorous demand monitoring and forecast management. This role is the key contact for customer and distributor inquiries and escalations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure achievement of the 0–3-month revenue plan by actively managing bookings, backlogs, forecasts, supply limitations, and shipment schedules; identify potential risks and opportunities early and collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to implement corrective measures.
  • Handle Webstore queries including quotations, order processing, payments, and fulfillment, maintaining accurate stock levels and price lists.
  • Be the initial contact point for inquiries directed to the technologies@e6.com email.
  • Optimize sales processes end-to-end, from lead management and forecast accuracy to order administration, fulfillment, and after-sales service; troubleshoot bottlenecks, define system requirements, coordinate system enhancements, and collaborate with IT teams.
  • Manage and prioritize sample requests within production and shipping workflows.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with established sales policies, procedures, and governance.
  • When product availability is limited, propose suitable alternative products, assess impact, secure approvals, and update relevant documents and customer communications.
  • Maintain data accuracy within Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ERP for customer details, pricing and discount structures, product settings, account assignments, and user support.
  • Promote the use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM as a sales enablement and relationship management tool, ensuring thorough logging of all customer engagements.
  • Assist in the sales lead process at inquiry stages.
  • Coordinate pricing, quotation setups, approvals, contracts, commercial checks, and order processing.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve customer queries following company policies, including issues related to credit, invoicing, and product returns, ensuring timely and compliant resolutions.

  • Technically curious, staying updated on products, services, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Third-level degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years in customer-facing or customer-focused roles such as Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or Sales Support within dynamic, process-oriented environments.
  • Proven track record supporting sales teams and senior leadership.
  • Experience in process enhancements and demand forecasting.
  • Growth mindset with enthusiasm for leveraging AI, automation, and digital technology for improved business and customer outcomes.
