Job description
Job Summary
A1 SKC Food Products Private Limited is seeking a Sales Officer to manage primary and secondary sales operations within the designated territory of Arani and surrounding areas, including Madurai. The role involves working closely with distributors, super stockists, and retailers to ensure product availability and market growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive both primary and secondary sales within the assigned territory.
- Recruit, oversee, and provide support to distributors, super stockists, and retailers.
- Meet monthly sales targets and maintain product presence in the market.
- Conduct daily visits to 30-40 market outlets to engage clients and collect orders.
- Ensure prompt delivery of products and collection of payments.
- Identify and develop new retail outlets to increase market share.
- Implement marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product displays.
- Monitor competitor activities diligently and report findings to the Area Sales Manager or Area Manager.
- Maintain daily sales reports using WhatsApp or a dedicated app platform.
- Prevent sales returns and ensure stock is properly rotated using FIFO principles.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a minimum educational qualification of 12th pass or any degree with relevant sales experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably within the food products sector.
- Ownership of a two-wheeler with a valid driving license is mandatory.
- Good communication skills in Tamil and basic proficiency in English.
- Local candidates from Madurai and surrounding districts are preferred.
