Overview
Aakhani Solutions is expanding its footprint in mechanized plastering and construction technology, seeking an experienced Business Development professional. The role focuses on active field sales in the construction sector, managing relationships from identifying opportunities to securing orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new projects with builders, contractors, and construction firms.
- Conduct site visits to meet Project Managers, Engineers, and procurement teams.
- Evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate mechanized plastering solutions.
- Organize machine demonstrations and product trials alongside technical experts.
- Draft quotations, commercial offers, and productivity/cost comparisons.
- Manage sales processes from initial contact through technical approvals, negotiations, and finalizing purchase orders.
- Ensure diligent follow-up and maintain accurate sales reporting.
- Support existing clients to generate repeat business.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferred; relevant graduates may also be considered.
- 3 to 6 years of total experience, with a minimum of 2 years in field sales.
- Background in construction chemicals, dry-mix mortar, plaster, gypsum, construction or concrete equipment, machinery, tools, waterproofing, or related areas is advantageous.
- Comfortable with site visits and traveling for customer engagements.
- Strong numerical and commercial acumen.
- Eagerness to learn technical product details and application methods.
- Fluent in Hindi with functional English; knowledge of Marathi is a plus.

We value candidates who demonstrate ownership, persistent follow-up of leads, and the ability to operate autonomously in the field. Prior knowledge of spray plastering is not mandatory, as training will be provided. Success hinges on your ability to engage customers, grasp their challenges, pursue opportunities, and close deals effectively.
