Sales Manager

Overview

The Agency Development Manager (ADM) plays a pivotal role in building, training, and overseeing a dynamic sales or financial advisory team. Operating mainly within insurance, financial services, or advertising domains, this role focuses on propelling business growth by empowering agents to achieve sales targets, promote company offerings, and maintain compliance with regulations.

Key Duties

• Actively recruit, interview, and onboard new agents specialized in insurance or sales to form a highly effective team.
• Lead product training sessions, provide sales coaching, and demonstrate field techniques to enhance agents' selling competencies.
• Steer the team to consistently achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives and premium collections.
• Monitor performance indicators such as agent productivity, client retention ratios, and sales mix goals; devise strategies to address any performance shortfalls.
• Support agents in client meetings, especially for high-value proposals, fostering strong, lasting customer relationships.
• Ensure all sales activities, customer engagements, and agent conduct comply strictly with company policies and industry regulations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related area.
• Possesses between two and five years of experience in sales, channel management, or team leadership, ideally within the BFSI sector or advertising agencies.
• Exhibits excellent communication and negotiation abilities, adeptness in talent acquisition, interviewing skills, and a demonstrated history of delivering on targets.
