Role Overview
We are looking to hire a Sales Executive with at least five years of experience in the hospitality and events industry, including work in hotels, conference or convention centres. This role requires a relationship-oriented individual who excels at new business development and nurturing long-term client connections. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and possess relevant industry expertise to qualify.
Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by proactively developing sales opportunities within the events sector.
- Establish and maintain strong, lasting client relationships to promote customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate event arrangements including venues, food service, and guest experiences.
- Engage in consultative selling and understand client needs to customize solutions effectively.
- Contribute to meeting and exceeding sales targets and company revenue goals.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of sales experience in hospitality and event management settings such as hotels, conference centres, or convention centres.
- Possession of a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and generate new business.
- Knowledge of event sales processes and industry standards.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
