Role Overview

The position of Sales Engineer – Maintenance involves working full-time onsite in Doha, Qatar. The candidate will promote and sell maintenance services for fire safety and security systems, perform site visits, and follow up on prospective leads. Day-to-day duties include addressing customer queries, delivering basic technical assistance, and clearly communicating product and maintenance details. Additionally, the role demands maintaining thorough sales logs, generating reports, and nurturing customer relationships to drive satisfaction and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discover and develop new prospects for maintenance contracts, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), and related services.
  • Generate leads, perform customer visits, and assess their technical and service needs.
  • Establish and strengthen ties with existing clients and potential customers.
  • Conduct routine visits to clients and manage contract renewals as well as new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical and service teams to offer tailored customer solutions.
  • Engage in negotiations and assist the team in meeting sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business potentials.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer data, and produce periodic sales reports.
  • Ensure timely and professional customer follow-ups from initial enquiry to contract completion.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Between three to five years of experience in selling maintenance contracts, AMCs, MEP services, or fire protection offerings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship capabilities.
  • Prior experience in the Qatar market is strongly preferred.
  • Possession of QCDD certification is advantageous.
