Job description
Overview
A well-established company specializing in HVAC and cooling tower solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer based in Dubai, UAE. This role involves driving sales of cooling tower components and services while providing technical support across the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote sales of cooling tower spare parts, retrofit kits, upgrades, and maintenance contracts specifically for HVAC systems in Dubai and neighboring GCC countries.
- Deliver expert technical guidance regarding cooling tower operations, fault diagnosis, and improving system performance within HVAC setups.
- Establish and sustain professional relationships with HVAC contractors, consultants, facility managers, and end users involved in cooling tower operations.
- Propose strategies to enhance cooling tower efficiency, conserve water, and reduce energy consumption, aligning these with overall HVAC system requirements.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge about the role of cooling towers in HVAC systems servicing commercial buildings, industrial facilities, data centers, and hospitality sectors.
- Support technical projects involving cooling tower installation and maintenance within HVAC frameworks.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and technical documentation, meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Candidate Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in the HVAC industry, preferably in sales or technical positions related to cooling towers.
- Educational background including a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of HVAC systems and their application within Dubai’s commercial and industrial environment.
- Knowledgeable about cooling tower technologies, their operation, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent technical aptitude combined with strong communication, negotiation, and sales abilities.
- Residency in Dubai with willingness to travel across the GCC region.
- Proficiency in English is essential, while Arabic language skills are advantageous.
