Sales Engineer

Overview

This role entails discovering and cultivating new business prospects in mechanical structures and assemblies. The successful candidate will manage customer relations, prepare quotations, and coordinate design approvals to process orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential new business opportunities for structural assemblies.
• Coordinate and conduct sales visits to clients and prospects.
• Provide both pre-sales and post-sales assistance to clients, ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotations while managing negotiation of contract terms.
• Interpret customer inquiries related to structural assemblies and design suitable solutions.
• Create assembly designs and manage approval processes for assembly layouts and Bills of Materials in collaboration with customers.
• Travel within Pune and neighboring areas to assess customer requirements for various structural products including fencing, machine enclosures, workstations, trolleys, material handling setups, and conveyors.

Candidate Requirements

• Must own a two-wheeler to facilitate travel across assigned regions.
• Experience or aptitude in 2D or 3D design software is advantageous.
• Strong sales acumen, excellent communication, negotiation skills, and customer handling capabilities are essential.
• Educational background of BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or MBA is required.

Additional Information

• The role involves extensive travel within and around Pune.

Compensation

The salary range lies between INR 20,000 and INR 22,000 per month.
