Job description
About Dayos
Dayos is a Singapore-based company redefining enterprise ERP support through AI. Our platform Hero automates tasks in Oracle, Workday, and SAP systems, resolving support tickets much faster than traditional methods. Enterprises invest heavily in ERP supports without optimized solutions, and Dayos aims to transform this space.
The Role
We are assembling our inaugural Sales Development Representative (SDR) team in Singapore. This role offers a direct pathway to enterprise AI sales by focusing on deep research, account opening, and strategic outreach rather than high-volume calls. You'll identify potential clients frustrated with their current ERP support and initiate meaningful conversations with them.
You will collaborate closely with the company's founder, who manages demos and deal cycles. While the Account Executive handles deal closure, you will be responsible for initial research, outreach, and qualifying leads. This pivotal role is foundational in developing our Singapore outbound sales strategy and team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the top of the sales funnel within an assigned territory of Oracle, Workday, and SAP clients.
- Conduct detailed account research to understand client pain points relating to support costs and service quality.
- Create personalized outreach messages across multiple channels that encourage engagement.
- Work in partnership with the Account Executive to strategize accounts and transition qualified leads.
- Participate actively in all demos you generate to gain insight into enterprise sales closures.
- Communicate market feedback and objections to improve sales approaches.
Career Progression
- Months 0-3: Learn enterprise prospecting, platform knowledge, and executive outreach techniques while shadowing live accounts.
- Months 3-6: Take ownership of account strategies and pipeline management with close mentorship.
- Months 6-12: Begin discovery calls and integral involvement in deal cycles alongside leadership.
- Post 12 months: High performers become Solutions Engineers, leading demos and receiving salary increases.
- Subsequently, top Solutions Engineers progress to Account Executives with further compensation enhancements.
Candidate Expectations
- No prior formal sales experience required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with charisma and initiative.
- Demonstrated record of notable achievements in any domain.
- Curiosity about enterprise challenges and willingness to investigate deeply.
- Experience in fields like finance, HR, procurement, or IT is advantageous, especially within Oracle, Workday, or SAP environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities tailored for senior executives.
- Resilience in handling rejection common in cold outreach.
- A forward-looking attitude eager to embrace constructive feedback.
- Comfort and fluency with AI tools to enhance sales efficiency.
Learning Outcomes
- Confidence in engaging senior finance, IT, and procurement leaders and managing objections.
- Comprehensive understanding of Oracle, Workday, and SAP systems economics and limitations.
- Insight into AI's practical influence on enterprise operations.
- Expertise in pipeline strategy formulation and deal qualification.
- Proficiency in leading discovery and advancing deals toward closure.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of SGD 5,600 per month totaling SGD 67,200 annually.
- On-target earnings up to SGD 100,800 annually based on 24 qualified demos per year.
- Commission: SGD 700 for each qualified demo, SGD 2,400 for demo closures as Starter, SGD 3,600 for Pro closures, with no cap and accelerators beyond quota.
- Career advancement includes 20% base salary increments upon promotion to Solutions Engineer and Account Executive roles.
- Unlimited paid time off plus recognized Singapore public holidays.
- Comprehensive medical insurance coverage.
- CPF contributions for qualifying employees.
- International exposure with clientele in Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe, including potential regional travel.
- All necessary equipment provided to perform the role effectively.
Additional Details
- Team focus: Enterprise AI and go-to-market strategies.
- Location: Singapore, on-site work required.
- Employment options: Available as full-time or part-time roles.
- Target start dates: December 2026 or January 2027.
- Application eligibility restricted to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.
Selection Process
- Initial phone screening for role alignment and background review (30 minutes).
- Written research assessment and outreach composition.
- Role-play exercise including a cold call and objection handling (45 minutes).
- Final conversation with the founder discussing mission fit and expectations (30 minutes).
