Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, phone-savvy Sales Development Representative to bolster our renewables sales pipeline, qualify prospects, and support our ambitious expansion. This position emphasizes outbound engagement with prospects, requiring persistence, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead outbound outreach activities by initiating calls, building rapport swiftly, and conducting meaningful dialogues with potential clients.
- Evaluate both inbound and outbound leads using structured MEDDICC-style qualification questions to determine suitability and advance opportunities.
- Coordinate meeting scheduling and calendar management to facilitate seamless sales operations.
- Work collaboratively with the broader sales team to assist in acquiring key accounts and nurturing relationships.
- Perform competitor and market research to stay informed on industry trends and detect emerging prospects.
- Support clients after initial contact by clarifying the value proposition and guiding them through early engagement phases.
- Participate in pertinent industry events to network and deepen market insights.
- Maintain flexibility to customize outreach approaches while adhering to established best-practice workflows.

Essential Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar Sales Development Representative or outbound sales role.
- Strong proficiency in phone-based communications and outbound prospect engagement.
- Skilled in using structured qualification frameworks such as MEDDICC.
- Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot or capability to quickly learn new tools.
- Competent with spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets.
- Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available for this position.
Interview Process
- Initial 15-minute introductory conversation with HR.
- Interview with Sales Manager.
- Final interview with Head of Revenue.
