About the Role
We are collaborating with a rapidly growing fintech company specializing in payments. Their platform supports critical payment operations for a diverse client base, including fast-growing tech firms and major enterprises. The company is expanding its London sales team by hiring both early-career and seasoned Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
This is a dynamic SDR position focused on high volume and high impact activities. You will be responsible for generating initial sales opportunities by proactively reaching out to prospects, conducting strategic research, and engaging with senior decision-makers. The role requires learning to navigate complex organizations, identifying key stakeholders, and crafting persuasive messages to facilitate sales team engagements.
Responsibilities
- Make more than 45 outbound calls daily, supplemented by email and LinkedIn outreach
- Conduct research on target companies and develop personalized outreach plans
- Engage with senior personnel across Operations, Finance, and Product departments
- Qualify incoming leads and nurture early-stage sales opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Partnerships teams
- Provide input on go-to-market strategies, messaging, and positioning
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly pipeline targets
Candidate Profile
- Highly energetic with a proactive and self-driven attitude
- Strong communicator able to articulate ideas clearly under pressure
- Ambitious and motivated by setting and achieving high standards
- Inquisitive mindset with a desire for comprehensive understanding
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering quality work
- Receptive to coaching, open to feedback with confidence and humility
- Comfortable interacting with senior-level stakeholders
- Degree qualified or with an excellent academic record preferred
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or finance sectors is advantageous but not mandatory
Work Location
This role requires working onsite in a modern central London office for four days a week, featuring a rooftop, café, and excellent local amenities.
