Role Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position represents a foundational opportunity to enter a dynamic career in cybersecurity and technology sales. This role suits individuals eager to engage customers, gain industry knowledge, and sharpen sales skills through setting clear objectives and achieving measurable outcomes. The job embraces a hybrid work model, requiring three days weekly at our North Sydney office and two days working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and nurture prospective clients without current CrowdStrike solutions, gathering insights on their cybersecurity status and objectives.
  • Utilize diverse outreach channels—phone, email, LinkedIn messages, among others—to connect with IT and security professionals via both proactive outbound efforts and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Lead inquiry-driven discussions to uncover challenges and identify how CrowdStrike can offer solutions, arranging meetings between prospects and account executives for deeper engagement.
  • Meet monthly quotas related to securing appointments for the account teams, with commission incentives for meeting and surpassing targets, offering uncapped earning potential.
  • Collaborate closely with teammates, managers, account executives, and marketing teams contributing resources like campaigns and events to assist prospect engagement and relationship-building.
  • Participate in an onboarding process that delivers comprehensive training in professional sales methodologies, including proven sales frameworks.
  • Acquire skills to distill complex cybersecurity topics into accessible, solution-oriented conversations for customers.
  • Commit to ongoing development through structured sales development certifications designed to enable career advancement into roles such as account executive, account manager, or sales engineer.

Candidate Profile

  • A strong enthusiasm for continuously improving sales abilities and gaining insights into the cybersecurity sector.
  • Technical aptitude with eagerness to rapidly assimilate new business and technical concepts.
  • High motivation and a robust work ethic, capable of achieving and exceeding goals both independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective communication skills, with an emphasis on listening, questioning, and clear articulation.
  • Ambition to establish and grow a career within CrowdStrike.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI technologies to support decision-making, enhance workflow efficiency, and drive business success.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and equity offerings reflecting market leadership.
  • Comprehensive initiatives supporting physical and mental wellness.
  • Generous vacation and holiday allowances for proper rest and recovery.
  • Paid parental and adoption leave benefits.
  • Opportunities for professional development available to employees across all levels and functions.
  • Various employee networks, local groups, and volunteer programs fostering a strong community connection.
  • A vibrant office environment equipped with world-class amenities.
  • Certified as a Great Place to Work™ globally.
