Job description
About FinSet
FinSet specializes in supporting high-risk merchants by connecting them with suitable payment and banking platforms that are typically difficult for these businesses to access independently. Our clientele includes proprietary trading firms, forex and CFD brokers, iGaming companies, and other high-risk sectors. We optimize approval rates tailored to each market and handle operational tasks such as onboarding, compliance, and corporate structuring.
Beyond introductions, we are deeply involved operators who accompany clients from initial conversations through onboarding and ongoing transaction processing. Our offerings also cover licensing and setting up entities, including offshore licenses for gaming and brokerage.
Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for managing the upper funnel of our sales process. Your primary task is to identify potential merchants requiring our services, engage key decision-makers, accurately qualify prospects, and arrange meaningful discovery calls.
This role demands proactive outbound prospecting across various communication channels, persistent follow-ups, and developing expertise in the commercial and technical aspects of high-risk payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create focused prospecting lists targeting prop trading firms, forex/CFD brokers, iGaming operators, and similar merchants based on market, license, business model, and payment setup.
- Execute outbound outreach campaigns leveraging LinkedIn, email, Telegram, WhatsApp, and telephone follow-ups.
- Engage with executives including founders, CEOs, COOs, and payment teams to qualify opportunities.
- Assess prospects against acceptance criteria and identify their challenges related to payments, banking, licensing, and operational processes.
- Schedule discovery calls for partners and provide detailed briefs prior to meetings.
- Manage inbound leads generated via paid advertisements, website inquiries, referrals, and partner networks.
- Contribute to company representation at industry events through pre-event outreach, onsite meetings, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain CRM data integrity and ensure records are current.
- Provide weekly reports covering outreach activities, qualified leads, meetings secured, and pipeline status.
Candidate Profile
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, lead generation, or account management.
- Strong preference for candidates with backgrounds in payments, fintech, brokerage, prop trading, or iGaming sectors.
- Familiarity with card acquiring concepts such as Merchant Discount Rates (MDRs), chargebacks, rolling reserves, and differentiations between trusted and first-time deposit (FTD) traffic, or the capacity to learn rapidly.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, able to craft concise communications that elicit engagement.
- Excellent skills in research and prospect identification.
- Resilient and disciplined in conducting outbound sales with consistent follow-ups.
- Highly organized and self-driven, adept at managing a sales pipeline independently.
- Additional language skills are advantageous.
- Proficient with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
Working Conditions
This is a remote position with a preference for candidates located in Dubai or broadly within time zones UTC+2 to UTC+6, as working Gulf Standard Time business hours is required.
