Job description
About Nelly Solutions
Nelly Solutions is pioneering an AI-powered Financial Operating System designed specifically for the European healthcare sector. Our platform streamlines chaotic administrative tasks by transforming them into intelligent, automated workflows covering patient care, billing, and next-generation payments. We aim to alleviate the burdens on healthcare professionals and improve the system at large, backed by over €50 million in Series B funding from top-tier investors.
Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative on our Growth Team based in Berlin or Hamburg, you will be the initial point of contact for potential clients, playing a pivotal role in qualifying leads and securing demo appointments. The position's seniority level will be determined through the interview process, based on your experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently build and manage your own sales pipeline from first contact to booked demo appointments.
- Engage with approximately 60 prospective customers daily via cold calls and inbound conversations, tailoring your approach to effectively convince them.
- Accurately qualify leads and assign them to the appropriate accounts to ensure smooth handoffs within the sales team.
- Provide immediate feedback to marketing on lead quality to help refine upcoming campaigns.
- Participate in trade shows and events to gain direct insight into customer perceptions beyond phone interactions.
- Collaborate closely with Partnerships and Marketing teams to accelerate the overall sales cycle.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a hunter mentality and a proactive, can-do attitude towards cold calling and persuading potential customers.
- Take complete ownership of your pipeline without needing management oversight.
- Demonstrate resilience under pressure and are strongly motivated by key performance indicators and metrics.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Proficient in German at a C2 level.
Not a Fit If
- You prefer slow, methodical work over conducting numerous calls daily and being driven by measurable outcomes.
- You find rejection during cold calls discouraging rather than motivating.
- You expect rigid, unchangeable processes, as the balance between inbound and outbound tasks shifts based on lead flow.
Interview Process
- Initial 30-minute online call with Talent Acquisition partner.
- Follow-up 45-minute online call with potential Team Lead.
- On-site interview lasting about 60 minutes.
Benefits and Perks
- Monthly BVG public transport ticket or Swapfiets bicycle membership.
- Access to Urban Sports Club membership for fitness and wellness.
- €500 Learning & Development budget to support your growth.
- 28 vacation days per year, increasing up to 30 days.
- Flexible working hours with a hybrid work arrangement.
- Up to 4 weeks of workation annually.
- Pet-friendly office environment fostering a positive team atmosphere.
- Complimentary snacks and a stocked refrigerator with cold beverages.
Diversity and Inclusion
We embrace diversity and welcome applications from all gender identities (m/f/d). We encourage candidates who may feel underqualified to apply if they believe they align well with our culture and mission.
