Job Summary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) for the Akai segment plays a vital role in expanding the sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. Responsibilities include both inbound and outbound prospecting, effective communication with prospective clients, and generating qualified leads that contribute to the overall revenue goals. This position demands excellent communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and develop new business leads through various channels, including emails, calls, social networks, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Research and assess potential clients to understand their challenges, needs, and readiness to buy.
- Design and implement tailored outreach strategies, encompassing personalized email sequences and cold calling to effectively penetrate target accounts.
- Engage with current customers to uncover opportunities for cross-selling or expanding product usage within the designated segment.
- Guide and nurture prospects through the sales funnel towards scheduled meetings or next steps.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and activities using CRM and sales engagement platforms.
- Work closely with Account Executives for seamless transition of qualified prospects.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other departments to continuously improve lead generation processes and messaging.
- Consistently meet or exceed predefined monthly and quarterly quotas related to qualified meetings, opportunities, and pipeline contributions.
- Participate actively in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in sales development, business development, or a role focused on outbound commercial activities.
- Strong enthusiasm and knowledge in AI applications within the workforce, including familiarity with frontier models and AI-driven workflow optimizations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage prospects across multiple platforms.
- Adept at working efficiently in a remote, fast-changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proven success in achieving or surpassing pipeline and activity targets.
- Ability to work independently, proactively sourcing solutions and taking initiative.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is advantageous.
- Experience in HR technology, fintech, or high-growth startup sectors is a plus but not essential.
