About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the commercial team of a growing technology company based in Belfast. This position involves genuine outbound sales, ideal for professionals who enjoy initiating prospect conversations and building a qualified sales pipeline within sectors like transport, logistics, construction, and other industries reliant on fleet management.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients across various fleet-heavy industries including transport, logistics, and construction.
- Develop and nurture leads, qualifying prospects before passing them on to sales or channel partners.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B sales development, business development, or new business sales.
- Proven expertise in cold outbound prospecting through phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Consistent achievement of sales targets and creation of a qualified pipeline.
- Confidence in engaging with senior-level decision-makers.
- Experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales environments.
- Strong communication skills combined with commercial curiosity and mindset.
- Prior experience in telematics, fleet technology, transport technology, or connected vehicle sectors is advantageous but not essential.
Offer and Benefits
- Base salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.
- Competitive commission structure with on-target earnings (OTE) potentially doubling the base salary.
- Hybrid work model requiring three days per week onsite in Belfast.
