Job description
Overview
The Sales Development AI Programs Team at Databricks works closely with Sales Development and Sales leadership to build a world-class top-of-funnel engine. This enables every sales development rep and account executive with AI-powered prospecting tools and programs designed to convert market opportunities into predictable revenue. Positioned at the crossroads of strategy, AI, and field execution, this team leads efforts to transform AI-based prospecting from a pilot to standard practice across the organization.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage outcomes, inspection, metric design, measurement, reporting, governance, benchmarking, enablement, content strategy, and change management for an AI-first prospecting initiative spanning the go-to-market teams.
- Oversee daily program management with discipline, including running executive cadences and managing risk assessments.
- Collaborate with BDR managers and frontline leaders to prioritize activities and maintain Outreach sequence governance across AI-driven and legacy systems.
- Develop executive and field-facing reporting that tracks program effectiveness across tactics, sequences, and customer segments.
- Engage with stakeholders across AI Ops, Strategy Ops, Sales Programs, Marketing Ops, Enablement, GTM Analytics, and external technology partners to enhance adoption and improve program results.
- Foster community building and adoption initiatives to convert users into advocates and ensure alignment with the sales field.
- Innovate continuously by redesigning workflows and creating scalable AI-powered toolkits that raise operational standards.
Candidate Profile
- Fluent in AI and actively utilizes AI tools to amplify work efficiency.
- Experienced in building programs or go-to-market strategies in hyper-growth environments or startups where frameworks were developed from scratch.
- Meticulous with data accuracy, capable of producing precise, defendable, high-quality operational deliverables on time.
- Strong program ownership with a bias toward operational execution rather than solely strategizing.
- Possesses strategic insight into high-volume prospecting and a commitment to redefining traditional models.
- Comfortable adapting to ambiguity and fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Technically skilled with SQL, familiar with Databricks SQL, Genie, custom agents, and exhibits rapid learning ability.
- Demonstrates a proactive "get it done" mentality with an aptitude for both designing strategy and detailed operational execution.
- Works collaboratively with integrity and sound judgment, documents processes, and shares knowledge openly.
- Excellent communicator with experience delivering presentations and executive-ready documentation.
Role Boundaries
- This is not a purely strategic role; operational responsibilities, including cadences, reporting, and governance, are integral.
- The role demands innovation and redesign rather than maintaining current legacy models.
- Requires readiness to handle high volume, ambiguity, and a fast operational tempo.
