About the Role
Join Rukma Plastics as a Sales Coordinator specializing in polymer distribution, where you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end sales process and ensuring seamless coordination between customers, suppliers, logistics, and the sales and accounts teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage customer interactions for order placement, dispatch scheduling, and timely delivery follow-ups.
- Collaborate with suppliers and logistics firms to monitor shipments and promptly address delivery-related issues.
- Assist the sales team by preparing quotations, entering orders, generating invoices, and coordinating sample dispatches.
- Compile and maintain sales MIS reports, provide updates on stock availability, and summarize customer outstanding payments.
- Keep detailed records of customer databases, order histories, and follow-up activities.
- Work closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate payment reconciliation and handling of credit notes.
Candidate Profile and Skills Required
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Science.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales coordination or back-office support, ideally within polymers, chemicals, or industrial product sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP software such as Tally.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a customer-focused mindset.
- Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
