Job Overview

The Luxury Collection seeks a Sales Coordinator to provide comprehensive support to the Sales and Marketing department by performing routine office tasks, preparing sales documentation, and promoting brand awareness internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage general office activities including filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and copying to support sales operations.
  • Create and prepare sales-related documents such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders throughout the sales cycle.
  • Promote and maintain the company’s brand image both within the organization and to external stakeholders.
  • Compile and organize marketing materials and information packages including brochures and promotional content.
  • Utilize sales tactics aimed at maximizing revenue while nurturing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify sales data including commissions, leads, and third-party information using relevant software systems.
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding property facilities, services, rates, room types, packages, promotions, entertainment options, dining, and special events.
  • Act as a liaison for clients by handling communications via phone and email to address questions and service requests.
  • Comply with all company policies, maintain a professional appearance, uphold confidentiality, and safeguard company assets.
  • Welcome guests warm-heartedly in accordance with company standards, anticipate their service needs, and express sincere appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, including phone etiquette and document preparation.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues, contribute to team goals, and provide supportive responses to employee concerns.
  • Maintain compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Physically handle items weighing up to 10 pounds safely and independently when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar sales or administrative role.
  • No supervisory responsibilities required for this position.
  • No specific licenses or certifications are necessary.
