Role Overview
As a Sales Associate specializing in channel management, you will oversee various sales channels including direct, online, or retail sales platforms. Your role involves crafting and executing sales strategies that align with the company’s overarching goals, identifying fresh business prospects, and closely monitoring sales targets and key performance indicators to ensure goals are met or surpassed.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement relationship management strategies for complex prospective client accounts, engaging key decision-makers and influencers to foster effective communication and prompt resolution of issues.
- Define objectives for every sales engagement; prepare and deliver customized presentations addressing the interests and concerns of client decision-makers; gather intelligence; and secure agreed customer requirements.
- Build and maintain a personal network within the industry sector; represent the organization at relevant events to gather market insights and elevate the brand’s profile.
- Design and propose intricate product and service solutions tailored to meet customers’ medium to long-term needs, liaising with internal experts; lead negotiations within established commercial guidelines or authorize deviations with escalation when necessary.
- Manage pricing projects and negotiate terms with strategic external partners, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Oversee specific segments of business performance metrics to guarantee strategic and financial alignment.
- Handle a portfolio of contracts, negotiating service-level agreements and supervising related major contract activities.
- Direct implementation and upkeep of the CRM system within the responsible area; identify improvement opportunities to enhance customer relationship management.
- Enforce compliance management among external partners in designated business segments.
- Develop and deliver product training programs targeting identified learning needs to improve team capabilities and meet business objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on technology, policy, regulations, or operational management; maintain accreditations and stay updated on industry standards via continuous professional development and participation in industry forums.
- Ensure all activities adhere to the company’s diversity and inclusion policies.
Qualifications & Experience
A Master’s degree or its equivalent is required, along with extensive experience that enables handling diverse situations independently and providing guidance to others. Prior experience in supervising junior team members is essential.
