Company Overview
Sbi Payment Services Private Limited specializes in merchant payment acceptance systems involving POS machines and digital payment options such as Soundbox.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential merchants or customers located within a designated area.
- Actively promote SBI Payments’ product offerings including POS devices and digital payment solutions.
- Generate new business leads by conducting field visits, utilizing references, and engaging in local market activities.
- Onboard new merchants, explaining product features, advantages, fees, and usage instructions clearly.
- Strive to meet or exceed sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Follow up on leads to convert prospects into active users of SBI payments products.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing merchants to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist merchants with the installation or activation of payment devices like POS terminals.
- Submit detailed daily reports covering activities and sales performance to management.
- Respond to basic customer inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Education: Completion of 12th grade, diploma, or any graduation degree is acceptable.
- Experience: Both freshers and candidates with prior exposure to fields such as field sales, merchant acquisition, banking, fintech, POS, or payment solutions will be considered.
- Strong communication and persuasive skills are essential.
- The candidate must be target-driven and prepared to conduct fieldwork regularly.
- Basic familiarity with smartphones and Android applications is required.
- Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is preferred to facilitate travel for sales activities.
Additional Information
The role predominantly involves direct sales efforts within local markets and requires frequent interaction with merchants to promote payment solutions.
Salary Range: Monthly pay between INR 17,000 and INR 43,000.
