Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary of A326,695 plus bonus opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to customers at the trade counter by identifying their requirements and making product recommendations.
- Respond promptly and politely to customer inquiries via telephone and email with a proactive demeanor.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while building durable relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Seek out and capitalize on opportunities to expand branch sales, engaging both current and prospective clients.
- Carry out general warehouse tasks such as picking and packing orders, including handling heavy items, managing deliveries, and maintaining merchandising displays to a high standard.
- Offer relief driving using a 3.5-ton van to cover holidays by delivering customer orders as needed.
Working Hours
This is a full-time, permanent role requiring 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM may be required and will be compensated as overtime.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in sales and customer service roles.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in customer interactions.
- Familiarity with plumbing and heating products is advantageous.
- Proactive, hands-on work approach and capacity to work collaboratively in a small team, supporting all branch functions.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude with the willingness to learn.
- Possession of a full UK Manual Driving License.
