Sales Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in Manama, Bahrain, specializing in luxury retail. This role requires 2 to 15 years of relevant experience and involves delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and following company protocols strictly.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply rigorously with company policies, store procedures, and maintain brand standards, including dress code and professional behavior.
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are adhered to consistently.
• Accurately handle cash, operate POS systems, and manage return/refund processes.
• Consistently achieve or surpass sales goals and monitor key performance indicators like conversion rate and average transaction value.
• Promote ongoing promotions, bundled deals, and new product launches to boost sales figures.
• Provide daily sales reporting and help with sales forecasting and planning.
• Offer warm and personalized customer interactions, providing expert advice on fragrance selections highlighting notes, longevity, and occasion suitability.
• Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally in a timely manner.
• Foster strong customer loyalty through follow-ups and engagement in loyalty programs.
• Keep the shopping environment tidy, well-organized, and inviting.
• Regularly monitor stock levels and conduct inventory audits to ensure optimal product availability and accurate record-keeping.
• Coordinate with management for timely reorder of stock preventing shortages.
• Maintain proper stock labeling, pricing, rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and secure storage of high-value products.
• Implement loss prevention and pilferage control measures, including routine security checks and assisting with stock reconciliations.
• Contribute to visual merchandising and promotional displays aligning with brand standards.
• Assist in store opening and closing activities, including operating equipment and generating reports.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and enhance product knowledge.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in sales and storage areas.
