About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Sales Representative / Sales Agent to join the Cash for Cars team located in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. This role is integral to Copart’s fast-growing business, leveraging technology to connect customers wishing to sell vehicles directly with our services. You will guide customers through the selling process, develop strong relationships, and negotiate deals beneficial both to the customer and the company. The position offers a guaranteed salary along with monthly commissions, providing excellent earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers interested in selling vehicles through our online platform.
- Develop rapport and ensure outstanding customer service from initial enquiry to sale completion.
- Conduct vehicle history and registration checks using HPI and DVLA systems to verify vehicle data and clear any financial encumbrances.
- Confidently negotiate with customers aiming to secure the best price for both parties.
- Accurately process invoicing details and payments.
- Collaborate within a dynamic team environment to meet personal and company sales targets.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine passion for sales and customer interaction.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to understand customer needs and negotiate effectively.
- A positive, driven, and goal-oriented mindset focused on results.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good proficiency with computers and confidence in learning and using various systems.
- Sales experience is desirable, but enthusiasm, attitude, and determination to succeed are equally valued.
Compensation & Benefits
- An annual basic salary of £27,976 with additional monthly commission opportunities.
- 40 hours per week working on a rota basis across seven days.
