Job Overview

The role of a Safety Supervisor involves ensuring comprehensive safety management at construction or project sites. This position is pivotal in overseeing daily operations to enforce strict safety regulations, preventing accidents and fostering a secure work environment.

Primary Duties

• Ensure that all personnel adhere strictly to safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Supervise the proper use of personal protective equipment including helmets, safety shoes, gloves, and harnesses.
• Carry out routine safety audits on-site to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Implement and sustain safety protocols aligned with relevant government regulations.
• Lead safety briefings and training sessions (toolbox talks) to educate workers on safe practices.
• Conduct thorough investigations of any workplace incidents and compile detailed reports.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to ensure safe operational procedures.
• Halt any unsafe practices immediately to avert accidents.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Applicants should possess a Diploma in Safety Supervision.
• Prior knowledge of fire safety equipment and established safety protocols is essential.
• Open to freshers or individuals with up to 1 year of related experience.
