Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a Safety Officer with at least five years of experience specifically in the Bitumen and/or Asphalt industry to join our team at Bitutrade Industrial Co. LLC based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Qualifications and Certifications
- Minimum of 5 years directly relevant experience within the Bitumen and Asphalt sectors.
- Possession of NEBOSH certification.
- Certified in OSHAD or UAE Occupational Safety & Health standards.
Skills and Expertise
- Comprehensive understanding of UAE HSE legislation and regulations.
- Proficient in industrial safety protocols, performing risk assessments, and managing emergency response procedures.
- Capable of delivering safety training sessions, facilitating toolbox talks, conducting audits, and performing HSE inspections.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Holds a valid UAE driving license.
- Demonstrated capacity to operate autonomously and efficiently in a dynamic industrial setting.
