Role Overview

As a Rust Developer, you will be responsible for crafting and maintaining robust backend services and applications using Rust. Your work will encompass translating business needs into scalable software primarily related to ERPs, custom applications, and dashboards. Daily tasks include writing efficient, clean, and well-documented code; performing peer code reviews; optimizing system performance; and ensuring security and reliability of deployed solutions. You will manage features end-to-end on ERP platforms and Solana blockchain-related products, actively engaging in architectural decisions and development process enhancements. This position is full-time and based on-site in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services with Rust for enterprise applications and blockchain products.
• Collaborate with product teams, designers, and engineers to convert requirements into scalable solutions.
• Write clean, effective, and well-documented source code.
• Review colleagues’ code and provide constructive feedback.
• Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in architectural design and continuous improvement of development practices.
• Integrate with third-party services and existing systems.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

• Strong expertise in Rust programming for backend development, including familiarity with key frameworks, libraries, and tooling.
• Hands-on experience developing on Solana blockchain using Rust, covering on-chain programs, wallet integration, and transaction management.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and experience with scalable APIs, microservices, and data-intensive applications.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and data modeling for business applications.
• Proficiency in version control using Git, CI/CD workflows, and modern DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of secure coding standards, performance tuning, and production debugging.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and engage in technical discussions and code reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant equivalent experience.
• Experience working in agile development environments and interest in enterprise software such as ERPs and dashboards is advantageous.
• Previous involvement with crypto or blockchain products is highly desirable.
