Role Overview and Responsibilities

We are inviting a motivated and customer service-oriented Runner to join our prestigious Lifestyle Dining brands such as SUSHISAMBA, Signor Sassi, and L’AMO. This role is crucial within the Front-of-House team, requiring leadership by example to ensure outstanding guest experiences and support to uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

• Transport food and beverages promptly and professionally from kitchen and bar to guests.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of dishes to correct tables and guests, meeting service standards.
• Maintain precise awareness of table layouts, seat placements, and guest preferences.
• Collaborate with Waiters, Supervisors, and Chef de Pass to facilitate seamless service operations.
• Assist in preparing, clearing, resetting tables, and ensuring immaculate floor presentation.
• Verify proper presentation of food before dispatching from the pass.
• Communicate smoothly with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house personnel.
• Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene within the restaurant area.
• Proactively anticipate needs of guests and service colleagues to enhance service flow.
• Respond warmly, professionally, and discretely to guest requests.
• Maintain composure and efficiency during busy service periods.
• Adhere strictly to company regulations regarding grooming, hygiene, health & safety, and guest service.
• Contribute positively to a vibrant, high-energy luxury lifestyle atmosphere.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years of experience in similar roles such as Runner, Food Runner, or Commis Waiter within luxury restaurants, five-star hotels, beach clubs, or lifestyle venues.
• Previous employment in globally recognized luxury lifestyle hospitality brands is highly preferred.
• Experience working in Dubai or other prominent international hospitality destinations is advantageous.
• Deep knowledge of luxury service standards and guest expectations.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional language skills considered a strong asset.
• Energetic, polished demeanor with a keen focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to act swiftly and decisively without diminishing service quality.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Comfortable working under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Physically capable of standing and moving continuously for long durations.
