Role Summary

The Rotating Inspector is a full-time role stationed on-site in Al Jubayl, responsible for thorough inspection and monitoring of rotating machinery such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes within industrial facilities. This position entails performing routine and preventive inspections to verify adherence to design specifications, safety criteria, and client expectations. The inspector will assess installation, maintenance, and repair work, detect any equipment irregularities, and propose corrective measures to avoid equipment malfunctions and operational downtime.

Key Duties

• Conduct detailed inspections and oversight of rotating equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and operational reliability.
• Analyze machinery conditions including vibration, alignment, and lubrication to predict potential failure causes.
• Review engineering drawings, datasheets, and OEM manuals to confirm correct equipment use and compliance.
• Document inspection findings accurately and compose comprehensive reports for internal and client use.
• Assist in root cause investigations and work closely with engineers, maintenance crews, and contractors.
• Promote and adhere to strict safety standards, hazard identification protocols, and site regulations.

Candidate Criteria

• Proven expertise in inspecting and maintaining rotating machines in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant contexts.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical fundamentals including vibration analysis, alignment, lubrication, and failure mechanisms.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and equipment manuals.
• Familiarity with industry and Saudi Aramco standards governing rotating equipment inspection.
• Competent in documenting technical observations and communicating effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Safety-conscious approach with commitment to regulatory compliance and hazard mitigation.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred; professional certifications in rotating equipment inspection or reliability engineering advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site in industrial environments and manage priorities under project timelines while collaborating with diverse teams.
