Role Overview
The Rostering Partner, reporting to the Workforce Planning Manager, specializes in rostering expertise and workforce analysis. This permanent full-time position is based in Rivervale, offering flexible working arrangements including partial work-from-home options. The role focuses on delivering strategic support to Rostering Officers and various stakeholders to optimise workforce planning, improve service delivery, and ensure financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze workforce utilization patterns, labor expenditures, overtime, agency staffing, leave trends, and crucial metrics to uncover risks and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in forecasting workforce needs, conducting establishment reviews, and participating in workforce planning initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Rostering Officers to enhance workforce planning outcomes and promote best rostering practices.
- Ensure adherence to industrial agreements, workforce management standards, and organizational policies.
- Support governance activities, compliance audits, and workforce monitoring processes.
- Identify potential workforce risks and propose actionable solutions to support both operational efficiency and financial goals.
- Contribute to workforce-related projects, process enhancements, and system upgrades.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with operational leaders while providing expert advice in workforce planning.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Proven experience in workforce planning, rostering, scheduling, or monitoring.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret data and identify workforce trends.
- Familiarity with workforce management and rostering software systems.
- Effective communication and proficiency in stakeholder engagement.
- Sound knowledge of workforce management policies, industrial agreements, and compliance standards.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with dedication to continuous process improvements.
