Room Attendant

Overview

This position involves maintaining cleanliness and order within a hotel environment, specifically at Revelstoke Lodge in British Columbia, Canada. Candidates do not need prior experience or educational qualifications as training will be provided on-site. The role is strictly onsite within a hotel, motel, or resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors
• Dusting furniture and vacuuming carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Making beds and changing bedding sheets
• Distributing clean towels and toiletries to guests
• Stocking the linen closet
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Disinfecting elevators
• Managing and reporting lost and found items
• Responding to guest requests for extra supplies or other items
• Providing basic information regarding hotel facilities
• Collecting debris and emptying trash containers
• Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Washing windows, walls, and ceilings
• Addressing customers' complaints or concerns
