Role Overview

The role of Room Attendant is crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness that encourage guest loyalty and positive recommendations. Individuals attentive to detail and dedicated to creating exceptional guest experiences are sought to join the Housekeeping team. This position is central to guest satisfaction and plays a key role in the overall impression of the resort.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction during their stay
• Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness standards throughout the resort
• Organize and properly stock housekeeping carts
• Use equipment, supplies, and guest amenities efficiently and responsibly
• Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of designated guest areas
• Replace and inspect linens and towels daily according to set standards
• Adhere to safety protocols, identify hazards, and report issues accurately
• Respect guest property and handle equipment with care
• Arrive punctually, keep accurate time records, and follow room issuance standards
• Maintain a courteous, attentive, and helpful attitude toward guests and coworkers
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred
• A neat appearance and friendly demeanor
• Strong time management capabilities
• Physical stamina to stand and work for extended periods
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read room numbers, instructions, and dates
• Capability to reach corners and high places, detect conditions and odors, and maneuver carts up to 100 lbs in confined spaces
• Capability to lift and carry loads around 25 lbs and lift mattress corners for linen changes

Compensation

The hourly pay rate starts at $14 and can increase up to $14.50 depending on skills and experience. Pay may vary by location due to labor cost differences.
