Room Attendant

Overview

This position involves maintaining cleanliness and organization within a hotel environment. The role requires physical presence on site at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The workplace is a non-smoking environment within a hotel, motel, or resort setting.

Education and Experience

No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is necessary. Candidates should have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors thoroughly.
• Dust all furniture pieces.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain cleanliness.
• Make beds and replace sheets with fresh linens.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries for guest use.
• Maintain and stock the linen closet efficiently.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Manage and report any lost and found items appropriately.
• Collect debris and empty trash containers regularly.
• Carry out light housekeeping and cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to preserve a neat environment.
