Room Attendant

Overview

This position requires on-site work at a hotel setting with no option for remote work. Candidates will manage cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and common areas to maintain a comfortable and hygienic environment.

Languages and Education

• Proficiency in English
• Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent experience

Experience

Between one to less than seven months of relevant experience is preferred.

Work Setting

Employment is located in a hotel, motel, or resort environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Dust and clean furniture surfaces
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, drapes, and upholstered furnishings
• Make beds and replace linens
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms
• Clean, sanitize, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Manage lost and found items, reporting accordingly
• Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or items
• Provide basic information about hotel facilities
• Collect debris and empty waste containers
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed

Security and Safety

• Must be bondable
• Criminal background check required

Transportation

• Possession of personal transportation required
