Role Overview

As a Robotics Maintenance Specialist in the Frontier AI & Robotics division, you will remotely support, maintain, and enhance robotic systems integral to Cruq AI's platform and client solutions. Key responsibilities involve conducting routine inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of robotic and mechatronic components to ensure consistent and reliable functionality. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to harmonize robotic systems with process automation workflows, document maintenance protocols, and execute system upgrades or adjustments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze system performance daily to ensure optimal operation.
  • Respond promptly to incident reports and perform necessary troubleshooting.
  • Execute preventive maintenance procedures on robotic systems and mechatronic elements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics with automation workflows.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of maintenance processes and system modifications.
  • Contribute to ongoing enhancements of robotics and AI capabilities through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide expert technical advice to internal teams and clients about effective robotic system operation and upkeep.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Foundational expertise in robotics including configuration, diagnostics, and optimization of robot systems.
  • Practical knowledge of process automation technologies, focusing on incorporating robotics into comprehensive workflows.
  • Understanding of mechatronics encompassing mechanical, electrical, and control system aspects pertinent to robotics maintenance.
  • Ability to partner with AI, software, and operational teams to meet business and technical needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or an equivalent field or hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with industrial or collaborative robots, relevant sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and safety regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude with meticulous attention to reliability and system uptime.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and capability to work autonomously in a remote and interdisciplinary environment.
