Risk Management Manager - Metro PMCM

Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Risk Management Manager to join our PMCM team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks associated with metro and construction projects. You will collaborate closely with project teams to design robust risk management strategies, ensure compliance with organizational risk guidelines, and offer strategic advice to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess sharp analytical skills, sound decision-making abilities, and a dedication to upholding top-tier risk governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and evaluate project risks using recognized risk management frameworks and methods.
• Design and implement risk mitigation and contingency strategies to reduce project impacts.
• Continuously monitor and report risk indicators and key performance metrics throughout project lifecycles.
• Maintain and regularly update detailed risk registers and databases for ongoing projects.
• Perform periodic risk assessments and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Compile comprehensive risk reports and documentation for senior management and stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other teams to integrate risk management in project planning.
• Provide expert advice and conduct training on risk management best practices to project teams.
• Identify new and emerging risks, recommending proactive mitigation measures.
• Ensure strict adherence to risk management policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 15 years of professional experience in risk management, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or metro project environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of risk management frameworks like ISO 31000 and PMBOK.
• Proven expertise in conducting risk assessments, analysis, and quantification.
• Proficiency with risk management software and analytical tools.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience handling risk management in large-scale, complex projects.
• Strong organizational capabilities with aptitude to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional team environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in metro, transportation, or major infrastructure projects.
• Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP).
• Familiarity with enterprise risk management systems.
• Knowledge of construction regulations and standards specific to Saudi Arabia.
