Job description
Overview
We seek a dedicated Risk & Compliance Associate to enhance payment transaction oversight, fraud prevention efforts, KYC and AML compliance, and risk evaluations within a FinTech setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor payment activities to detect suspicious or abnormal transactions.
- Analyze and investigate alerts related to fraud, financial risks, and compliance concerns.
- Conduct KYC, AML, and thorough customer due diligence procedures.
- Recognize transaction trends and risk-related indicators.
- Escalate doubtful and high-risk cases following company guidelines.
- Keep meticulous records of investigations and compliance processes.
- Ensure that all payment operations adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve risk and compliance matters.
- Compile and submit reports concerning fraud, transaction monitoring, and compliance activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Risk Management, or comparable discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience within FinTech, payments, banking, AML, KYC, fraud detection, or risk and compliance domains.
- Strong analytical capabilities and effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Familiarity with payment processing, AML/KYC protocols, and transaction monitoring preferred.
- Proficient in communication and computer use.
