Role Overview

The Revenue Manager position is a full-time remote role where the primary responsibility is to manage and improve revenue-related operations at Arival.ai. The role involves overseeing revenue recognition policies, reviewing contracts and pricing strategies, and ensuring revenue is recorded accurately and promptly according to applicable standards. The manager will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Product teams to develop forecasts, track key performance indicators, and analyze trends to support data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

The role requires building and refining revenue models, preparing leadership reports and dashboards, aiding financial audits, and identifying opportunities to enhance controls and process efficiency within revenue operations. Additionally, maintaining and updating documentation of revenue processes, supporting system enhancements, and contributing to strategic initiatives aimed at boosting monetization and profitability are expected.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should demonstrate strong capabilities in Revenue Management and Revenue Recognition, with relevant experience applying related standards and policies. Solid knowledge in Accounting and Finance is essential, including familiarity with financial statements, GAAP or IFRS standards, and month-end closing procedures. Advanced analytical skills are necessary, encompassing data analysis, financial modeling, and interpretation of revenue and performance metrics.

Experience within SaaS or technology-driven business environments is preferred, particularly knowledgeable about subscription pricing, usage-based billing, or multi-element contracts. Desired academic backgrounds include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. Professional certifications like CPA or CMA add value. Additional skills beneficial for this remote role include proficiency in spreadsheets and BI tools, excellent communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
