About The House Hotel Jeddah
Situated along Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, The House Hotel Jeddah is a modern urban retreat blending coastal living with contemporary hospitality. Featuring 129 meticulously designed rooms, the hotel offers comfort and stylish design, anchored by a lively signature restaurant that serves as a social and culinary hub. The vibrant city of Jeddah is known for its dynamic mix of seaside culture, heritage, and urban living, including attractions such as the Jeddah Corniche and the UNESCO World Heritage site Al-Balad. The hotel enjoys convenient access via King Abdulaziz International Airport, about 20 km away.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute revenue management tactics to enhance hotel income, profitability, and market penetration.
- Oversee pricing, room inventory, availability, and distribution channels by analyzing demand fluctuations and market trends.
- Generate and uphold precise revenue projections, budgets, and performance analyses.
- Track vital metrics such as Occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), Revenue Generation Index (RGI), Market Penetration Index (MPI), and Average Rate Index (ARI).
- Perform consistent competitor and market research to spot emerging trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Optimize room pricing and allocation across direct sales, online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and other platforms.
- Lead routine revenue and commercial strategy sessions, offering data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office, and Finance to synchronize commercial goals and exploit revenue potentials.
- Assess booking patterns, pace, segment performance, cancellations, and length-of-stay data to aid pricing strategies.
- Manage rate frameworks, conditions, promotions, packages, and dynamic pricing based on demand.
- Contribute to pre-opening or seasonal scale-up efforts, including configuring systems, market positioning, pricing setup, and establishing revenue processes.
- Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to hotel leadership and owners to guide decision-making.
Experience & Skills Required
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hold a minimum of 5 years' experience in the hospitality sector, with proven expertise in revenue management and at least 2 years in leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge in hotel revenue management, pricing principles, forecasting, budgeting, and distribution channels.
- Understand thoroughly hotel performance measurements such as ADR, RevPAR, Occupancy, RGI, MPI, and ARI.
- Experience with property management systems (PMS), revenue management systems (RMS), central reservation systems (CRS), channel managers, and distribution platforms.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret market and performance data to inform commercial decisions.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and revenue reporting and analytics software.
- Experience in hotel pre-opening initiatives, repositioning, or seasonal operations will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities enabling effective collaboration across commercial and operational teams.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.
